As an employer, a portion of the tax dollars you pay under the Federal Unemployment Tax Act (FUTA) goes toward administering the Maryland One-Stop Career Centers. Create Your Own Business Folder

By filling out our short registration form, you will create your own company folder that will allow you to manage job orders, edit your own contact information, search for qualified applicants, quickly register on-line for workshops, job fairs and other events taking place in your community, and much more. Note: Your company's Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN) will be required for registration.

Post and Manage Your Own Job Orders

You can use this site to create, modify or close job orders. Once you create a job order, you can immediately perform an applicant search based on your job specifications. A short registration is required to use these features.

Search for Qualified Applicants

If you are looking to expand your workforce, you can perform a self-directed search on our talent bank to find qualified applicants. This self-directed search does not require registering with Workforce Connection. However, if you would like to review applicant resumes or contact applicants directly, a short registration is required.

Business Resources

If you are looking for resources that can help your business grow in Maryland, we encourage you to visit our business resource area. Here you can obtain information on business assistance programs, licensing/permit information, workforce training programs, and other economic development assistance. No registration is required.

As part of the Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation, the Maryland One-Stop Career Center can put you in touch with DLLR’s Labor Market Analysis and Information office for free information concerning labor trends and market conditions within the state.

Recruitment through the Maryland One-Stop Career Center is quick and easy with no charge to the employer or job seeker. Automation allows your openings to reach candidates conducting their own job search.

Maryland Workforce Exchange is Maryland’s source for information and services for job seekers and employers. Post jobs and search resumes at no cost to you.

Connect with Incentive Programs

Money saving incentives on wages and taxes can be obtained through special programs. Federal and State Tax Credits reduce an employer's cost of doing business and require little paperwork. The success and growth of these credits for private-sector employers depend on a strong public-and private-sector partnership.

If you are receiving Community Development Block Grant (CBDG) incentives, the Maryland One-Stop Career Center can assist in recruiting low to moderate income applicants. The Department of Business and Economic Development can also assist your business with additional financing programs.

Training incentives available through the Workforce Investment Act include: On-the-Job Training (OJT), Cooperative programs (workplace & instruction), Upgrade skills training, Entrepreneurial, Occupational skills, Job readiness, and Customized. Anne Arundel Community College offers wide variety of non-credit educational opportunities through the Continuing Education & Training Division of Anne Arundel Community College.
