About the Graphs

  • Monthly continued claims counts were used for all calculations.
  • An individual may be counted only once in a given month but in more than one month.
  • Claimant counts relate to the week including the 12th of the month.
  • Percentages are based on the claimant's place of residence.
  • The distribution of demographic data is based solely on positive responses.
  • Rounding of data may affect additivity.
  • These claims exclude:
      • claims with partial earnings
      • claims from extended benefits.
