State offices and all DLLR physical locations will be closed to the public May 24th through May 27th, 2012.
However, Unemployment Insurance telephone and Web operations WILL be available on Friday, May 24th.

Firm Permit - License - Maryland Board for Professional Engineers

At the present time, the Maryland Board for Professional Engineers does not require
an engineering firm to have a firm permit or certificate of authorization issued by the Board in order
to practice engineering through a firm. However, if you are using the word "engineering", "engineer" or
otherwise in your business name or by description of services, you should have a licensed professional
engineer on staff who would be in responsible charge of engineering practiced through the firm.
