Each licensee or firm is responsible for promptly notifying the Board of any address
changes. Failure to do so resulting in not receiving license renewal notices may result in late renewal
fee charges. $100 late fee will be charged when an individual's license is not renewed by the expiration date.
ADDRESS CHANGES may be made online using your registration number
and password. Click Individual or Business to make the change now. OR, email your address change to
the Board at email@example.com. There is no fee
for an address change.
Individual Licensees must submit a request
for a name change along with copies of appropriate supporting documents (court order, marriage
license) to the Board's office, 500 N. Calvert Street, Room 308, Baltimore, Maryland
21202. You will receive a license with your new name in approximately 4 weeks.
may change the firm name without applying for a new permit if the Federal Employee Identification
Number remains the same and the firm has not become a new entity. Send a letter to the Board with the
new name and a copy of the Certificate of Good Standing from the
Department of Assessments and Taxation showing the new name. You will
receive a license with the new name in approximately 4 weeks.
There is no fee for a name change.
