Georges Counties also require individuals to hold
a county HVACR license as well as a Maryland HVACR license
in order to perform HVACR services in those counties.
In other counties and cities, local plumbing, gasfitting and
electrical permits may be required before HVACR work can
begin. Check with local permit agencies for details.
Counties and cities may require adherence to building and mechanical
code in lieu of or in addition to those required by the
Maryland Board. Consult with the local agencies for details.
