How to Apply to Become an Approved Peer Review Program - Peer Review - Maryland Board of Public Accountancy

Organizations can request approval as a peer review program by submitting a letter to the Board of Public Accountancy including the following information:
Check mark A brief review of the history the organization’s peer review program.
Check mark Identification of the standards under which peer reviews are performed and administered. Maryland law requires that peer reviews must be conducted under standards no less stringent than the AICPA Standards for Performing and Reporting on Peer Review.
Check mark A copy of the plan of administration for the peer review program.
Check mark A copy of the approval letter, approving the plan of administration, issued by the independent oversight entity.
Check mark If applicable, a copy of the most recent oversight report for the peer review program.

Any other supporting documentation that will assist the Board in its evaluation of the application will be considered.
