The Board of Architects will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. to hear comments on the proposed amendments to regulations to
allow digital signatures. The proposed amendments were published in the September 19, 2014 issue of the Maryland Register and can be viewed on
DLLR's proposed regulations page.
The hearing will take place at 500 N. Calvert Street, Baltimore, MD 21202, in the Third Floor Conference Room.
If you would prefer to submit written comments, they will be accepted until December 1, 2014 and should be sent to Executive Director, Maryland Board of

Welcome to our home page. The State Board of Architects qualifies and licenses
individuals seeking licensure and issues permits to business entities through which architecture is practiced.
The Board regulates the practice of architecture under the provisions of Business Occupations and Professions
Article, Annotated Code of Maryland, Title 3 and the Code of Maryland Regulations, Title 9, Subtitle 21. The
Board investigates complaints against licensees, as well as complaints related to unlicensed practice. The
Board may issue a reprimand, suspend or revoke a license or permit, and/or impose a fine.
Regular business meetings of the State Board of Architects are scheduled monthly, at 500 N. Calvert Street, Baltimore, MD 21202.
