Department of Labor - Division of Workforce Development
The Division of Workforce Development oversees the State's workforce programs. Working in partnership with Local Workforce Investment Areas, services include matching job seekers with employers, providing training opportunities and reporting on the needs and demands of the labor market. Department of Rehabilitation Services
The Maryland Division of Rehabilitation Services (DORS) offers programs and services that help people with disabilities go to work or stay independent in their homes and communities. DORS is an agency of the Maryland State Department of Education. DORS is composed of the public vocational rehabilitation program and the Disability Determination Services.

Maryland Department of Aging – Identifies low-income persons 55 and older in need of employment and training. Training is accomplished within participating non-profit agencies or government entities that provide a community service to the general populations or senior population.  Phone 301-393-8243 for more information.
