...Demerris L. Johnson!! Congratulations Demerris!

Secretary's Citation winner for Excellent Customer Service

Ms. Johnson took that extra step last week to ensure her customer was not just satisfied, but impressed with the level of service she received from DLLR.

Demerris is the quintessential employee who provides an abundance of positive energy to the performance of her duties as a Wage and Hour Investigator. In a job where the facts are not always clear, and the customer may be agitated, she maintains an empathetic and compassionate approach in bringing each case to quick and fair resolution.

Ms. Johnson is bilingual, Spanish is her second language. She is skillful in working with customers and providing outreach in support of DLLR services.

And, who knew? Demerris has a wonderful voice and is a member of the Morgan State University Choir. She recently sang at the White House before the President of the United States and selected guests, accompanying many Gospel greats!

Way to go, Demerris!
